Tobin began his professional career with U.S. Bancorp as an intern with the U.S. Bancorp properties accounting department. Tobin then continued to work at U.S. Bancorp in the finance department after graduating from Hamline University in the spring of 1999. In the fall of 2000, Tobin moved on to Best Buy Co. properties accounting department as a Staff Accountant. In January 2002, Tobin began working at Hempel Income Tax Servie, Inc. as a part time Tax Preparer under his father, and founder, Keith Hempel. In January 2004, Tobin became a full time Tax Preparer, along with Financial Professional, and continues to do so today.
